Hertha BSC's young prodigy, Kennet Eichhorn, a defensive midfielder, has become the hottest property in European football, attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in the world.
At just 16 years old, Eichhorn is making waves. He's already made his mark in Germany's second tier, becoming the youngest player in history to feature in a match, just weeks after turning 16.
His teammate, Fabian Reese, was quick to praise his talent, exclaiming that Eichhorn has an incredible talent.

But here's where it gets controversial... Bundesliga giants like Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig are also vying for his signature. Eichhorn is under contract with Hertha until 2029, but reports suggest a release clause of between €10–12 million (approximately £8.8–10.5 million, $11.6–13.9 million) could be activated next year.
However, Eichhorn has been advised to stay at Hertha for the benefit of the club and the player.
Eichhorn's playing style has drawn comparisons to the legendary Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, a comparison that is not well received by Kroos' family. Felix Kroos, Toni's brother, has cautioned against such comparisons, emphasizing that they are rarely helpful.
Felix, who also had a decade-long playing career, believes Eichhorn should remain in his current environment for the next few years to continue his development.
He explains that there is no 'magic formula' for success. However, he believes Eichhorn, being a special case at 16, should stay in his familiar surroundings, which have contributed to his current success.
And this is the part most people miss... Felix Kroos suggests that a move to Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund would be premature for Eichhorn in the next two to four years. He hopes that Eichhorn continues to develop at Hertha for a few more years.
Kroos even suggested that if Eichhorn stays for another two or three years, his current valuation of €6 million could increase to €60 million.
Kroos also highlights Eichhorn's remarkable playing style, noting his calmness and ability to learn from mistakes. He stresses the importance of allowing young players to take breaks.
